Dr. Chad S. Sloan is a fellowship trained and board certified facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon and oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced training in plastic surgery, facial trauma, and reconstructive surgery. His unique combination of medical and dental degrees gives him a comprehensive understanding of both the functional and aesthetic aspects of oral and facial health — making him uniquely qualified to guide patients through complex dental implant decisions.
Dr. Sloan attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate education, followed by dental school at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, California, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). He then pursued his medical degree (MD) at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed a general surgery internship and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, followed by a fellowship with extensive experience in facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, CO2 laser resurfacing, and complex reconstructive procedures.
His clinical expertise spans facial trauma and reconstruction, orthognathic (jaw) surgery, and comprehensive facial plastic and cosmetic procedures, allowing him to address both function and aesthetics at the highest level. This dual focus on surgical precision and artistic refinement ensures that form and function are always addressed together.
Dr. Sloan's practice at Riverwoods Oral & Facial Cosmetic Surgery in Provo, Utah, is dedicated exclusively to surgery of the face and neck.
